CAPS United TV show launched

CAPS United unveiled an official club DVD at a function held at Ster-Kinekor Eastgate in Harare last night.

The DVD available every month and named the Makepekepe Show will provide an in depth look at the club.

The DVD will go for $1 and will be a compilation of interviews, match highlights, profiles .According to CAPS United the DVDs will generate revenue for the club through sales and corporates advertising.

There are also plans to screen the show on ZTV and Supersport who own the television rights of the Zimbabwean premier league

CAPS United become the second club to launch a magazine show after Dynamos launched a similar product named Dembare TV.

The function was attended by members of the media, ZIFA,SRC officials and Minister of Sport and Recreation Makhosini Hlongwane.

Hlongwane praised CAPS United for taking the initiative and challenged other sports club to do the same.

Hlongwane said his ministry would lobby government to have a dedicated local sports channel that would cover a number sporting codes including football.
