Chitembwe keen to end Dynamos jinx

CAPS United head coach Lloyd CHitembwe believes history will not play a part in their league clash with Dynamos on Sunday.

The two bitter rivals clash in the capital at Rufaro Stadium. Dynamos have dominated CAPS United in the fixture with Green Machine last getting a win six years ago.

However Chitembwe remains unfazed saying ‘History should be left for the archives. We will try to go out there and do well. I believe we have quality in our squad. We have good players that can see us break the Dynamos jinx.

Meanwhile Dynamos are set to have headaches in their defence with Sydney Linyama ruled out with injury.

Dynamos are already missing the services of Elisha Muroiwa through suspension but are boosted by the availability of their captain Augustine Mbara.

Mbara said their focus is to get three points to keep themselves in the title race. Dynamos have an outside chance of clinching the title but trail Chicken Inn by six points with four games to go.
