Katsande proud to captain Kaizer Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder and Zimbabwean international Willard Katsande has expressed his delight after captaining his club this week.

Katsande was handed the armband in the absence of Siphiwe Tshabalala who was dropped for the game against Golden Arrows during the week.

Kaizer Chiefs won the game 3-1.

“It feels special to captain Kaizer Chiefs, the biggest brand in African soccer,” Katsande told the official club’s website.

Katsande also says he had the blessing of Tshabalala.

“I got full support as well from ‘Shabba’, who is the real captain but didn’t feature in Tuesday’s match.”
