Mutasa set to stay despite Whawha relegation

Lloyd Mutasa said that he is staying put at Whawha after his team was relegated yesterday after  they played out to a one all  draw away to Harare City at Rufaro stadium.

He said he can be tempted but as it stands he is still with the team and is already looking at ways to get back to the league.

“In football you never know but as it stands I am still with the club and I also work for Zimbabwe Prison Services,  so I will be with the club unless if I am ordered to do something,” he said.

“It was a tough season and some players gave up early but I used to remind them about their careers, not to give up because even in darkness,  a good thing can be noticed.

Whawha are on 22 points and even if they win the remaining two games they are already relegated and joint Dongo Sawmills in Division One next season.

With two more teams still to go down the race for survival is now between Tsholotsho, Buffaloes and Flame Lilly. Tsholotsho have 30 points, Buffaloes have 29 points while Flame Lilly has 25 points.
