Masvingo United are on the verge of qualifying for the 2016 Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League.

The community of Masvingo will follow with keen interest proceedings of the match between Masvingo Unuted and Mutoko in the Easten Region Division 1 showdown.

Masvingo United need 3 points in the Match against Mutoko traders to be guaranteed of PSL football next year as they lead title rivals and second placed Mutare Rovers by just a single point.

An important victory for Una Una and Masvingo is affectionately known as will ensure Premier League Football returns to Masvingo which had alluded them since 2011 when they got relegated. Sadly, that will spell no PSL action next year for the 3rd largest City in the country – Mutare after the relegation of Buffaloes.

However a slip up by Masvingo together with a win for Mutare Rovers can ultimately spoil Masvingo United’s party.
