EPL: Manchester City and Leicester play out goalless draw

Leicester City and Manchester City played out a goalless but highly entertaining match at the King Power Stadium last night.

Manchester City had control of the game for most of the first half with Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne coming close to opening the scoring but were denied by an in-form Schmeichel in goals for Leceister.

Leicester ended the first half well and had an even better second half opening up the City defence as Vardy and Mahrez’s deadly combination kept Joe Hart and his defence busy.

Joe Hart pulled out fine save from a Christian Fuchs shot in the 77th minute to keep Manchester City level. Despite the chance for both sides the settled for a goalless draw.

The draw sees Leicester move on the same number of points as Arsenal but the Gunners remain on top spot due to a superior goal difference while Manchester City are in 3rd place three points the leaders
