Mubaiwa threatens Blessing Moyo after City move

Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa has allegedly threatened not too issue Blessing Moyo his transfer clearance after the defender dumped the team and signed for Harare City.

Moyo’s move came after Ronald Chitiyo had just completed his move to Harare City and both players seem to have caught Dynamos off guard.

Dynamos had been confident of renewing deals with both players with their contracts expiring in December. But Harare City provided better offers and players jumped ship.

However a seemingly frustrated Kenny Mubaiwa has now threatened Moyo via text messages much to the disappointment of Harare City who have spoken on the matter:

Dynamos chairman Kenny Mubaiwa has been sending nasty messages on Moyo’s phone threatening to not even release the clearance.

The club will not take that personal and therefore will not publish the contents of the message as we understand that no club is happy when one of its good players decamp said Harare City in a statement.

Mubaiwa’s threat are not likely to be taken lightly by the Footballers Union of Zimbabwe (FUZ) which represents players rights and has been fighting clubs taking advantage of local players.

Mubaiwa has already been accused by some sections of Dynamos’ fans of creating the mess by leaving contract negotiations late and risky players being snapped up by other clubs.
