Bulawayo City kick off pre-season preps

Premier Soccer League new boys Bulawayo City have set ground running as they began their 2016 season preparations wise.

“We are starting our preparations for the forthcoming season this week,” said City chairman Jerry Sibanda.

Sources close to developments at City said new players that are likely to showe faces at the training session are out of contract veteran midfielder Mthulisi Maphosa.

Maphosa has reportedly turned down a $400 salary offer at Bosso amid revelations by Bosso chief executive officer Ndumiso Gumede that they will be a players’ salary cut.

Thomas Chimenya, formerly with 2015 league champions Chicken Inn has reportedly signed a pre contract with City.

City won promotion to the ZPSL after winning the Southern Region Division One title.
