Revealed: The Portuguese who may coach Dynamos

Dynamos are in the hunt for a foreign head coach  with a Portuguese national a reported target

Paulo Jorge Silva has been reported as the candidate. We did some digging around and here is some information about Silva who may be the next coach of Dembare:

Here is some information on Paulo Silva :

-He said to have rich coaching experience having worked with German sides VfB Stuttgart, Greuther Furth, Nuremberg, Aalen and Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon in his home country.

-Silva has had stints in the United Arab Emirates with the following clubs Al Wasl and Sharjah FC .

-He has worked in Africa before with his last coaching job being at Nigerian side COD United in late 2015 .He has also worked with Tunisian side Esperance and Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak.

-At his unveiling by COD united their director was full of praise for Silva saying:

“You only have to take a look at Paulo’s CV to see that he comes here with a lot of knowhow and experience. I believe he has a lot to contribute to further improve what we have built here and I am excited about the possibilities. Our team of coaches will benefit from working with him and our young players will certainly learn a lot from him.”

Silva admitted that working in Africa was different to Europe saying, ” Working in Africa is quite different from working in Europe and so I had to be careful in choosing a club that matches my ambitions and with the right structure.
