Erasmus departure opens doors for Tendai Ndoro

Zimbabwean international Tendai Ndoro may have been handed an opportunity to establish himself at Orlando Pirates following the departure of Kermit Erasmus.

Erasmus made a surprise switch to French side Rennes yesterday only days before the South African transfer window is set to close.

The move seems to have caught even head coach Eric Tinkler off guard  ,admitting it was a massive loss and had been unaware of the departure happening

Ndoro has struggled to establish himself at Pirates since his high profile move from Mpumulanga Black Aces.

The former Chicken Inn striker has at times not been part of match day squad or coming on as a substitute and found himself down the pecking order.

Ndoro played 17 minutes of Pirates games last weekend when they went down 1-0 to Jomo Cosmos.

But with Erasmus leaving door could open for Ndoro. It remains to be seen wether under pressure Eric Tinkler will utilise Ndoro. Pirates come up against great rivals Kaizer Chiefs this coming weekend and Ndoro may play a role in that game.
