Mangwiro: Harare City conceded poor goals against AS Adema

Harare City head coach Taurai Mangwiro admits his side conceded poor goals in their CAF Confederations Cup win over AS Adema.

Harare City let a two goal lead slip before winning the match 3-2.

“We would have wanted a clean sheet but at the end of the day, the slim victory was good enough said Mangwiro after the match.

“The boys went to sleep on both Adema goals and it is something that worried me a lot.

“The way we conceded the first goal was a sign of how poor we defended. How can we allow two players at the near post unattended in the box. It suicidal and we paid for it. Thank God Manuvire rescued it for us at the end,” said Mangwiro.

The coach however remained optimistic of progressing to the next round. “We will progress to the next round.
“This team can be beaten and we are glad we saw how they play and we will work on our weaknesses before the return leg,” he added.
