FC Platinum are through to the semi-final of the ZNA Charity Shield after beating How Mine 2-1 at Mandava Stadium today.
FC Platinum took the lead in the 22nd minute from the penalty spot. Brian Muzondiwa was impeded in the box and Winston Mhango converted the penalty.
Walter Musona put the game beyond How Mine when he rounded off Munyardzi Diya just after the halftime break.
How Mine got themselves a consolation when Toto Banda pulled one back in the 70th minute. FC Platinum joins ZPC Kariba in the semi-finals.
Harare City and CAPS United clash tomorrow while Chicken Inn meet Highlanders as well to determine the other semi-finalists.
