Galloway called up to England U-21 squad

Zimbabwean born Brendan Galloway has been named in the England  U-21 squad to face Switzerland in a European Championship qualifier on the 26 of March.

Galloway has been called before but failed to feature due to injury. Galloway also received a call up for the Zimbabwe national team but indications are that he has turned down the offer together with Tendayi Darikwa.

The Everton defender has shown great potential for the Toffees and looks to be aiming for an England career after turning out at other junior levels.

Galloway made the along with other EPL players such as Arsenal’s Calum Chambers,Liverpool’s Jordon Ibe to name a few.

There is more hope though for the Warriors from Tendayi Darikwa who asked to be excused but has indicated before his interest in playing for Zimbabwe.

The Warriors will take on Swaziland in back to back AFCON qualifiers at the end of this month.
