Swaziland now in the country

The Swaziland national team has arrived in Zimbabwe for the AFCON qualifier to be played at the National Sports Stadium this afternoon.

Swaziland arrived this morning and will train at the match venue around 8 am. Meanwhile Swazi head coach has already pointed out that they won’t be intimidated by Zimbabwe and are keen to register a win to keep their hopes of a first AFCON qualification alive.

AS Vita striker Mthunzi Mkhotfo who is one of the only foreign based players in the Swaziland squad says they are aiming to score today. “We need to go for the kill and score in the return leg he told the Swazi media.

Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa says they now have a better understanding of how Swaziland play and will use that to their advantage.

‘We need to rectify the mistakes we made in Swaziland. I think we have done our homework and we are ready for tomorrow (today). I hope we will do better and the right attitude will carry the day,” he said.
