CAPS United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe believes his side can achieve big things this season following their 3-0 win over Chapungu at the National Sport Stadium on Sunday.

CAPS United scored through Joel Ngodzo,Tafadzwa Rusike and Moses Muchenje to kick off their campaign well.

Chapungu have also been a bogey side for the Green Machine but managed to get better of the Gweru based.

“We are very happy as far as the result is concerned said Chitembwe after the match. It’s a reminder of what we are capable of and can achieve if we continue working hard.

After making a number of acquisitions in the off season Chitembwe said the win was down to having very good players but they needed to continue putting effort into their game.

Though still early days the victory puts CAPS United joint top with Highlanders, Chicken Inn and Ngezi Platinum who all won by 3-0 score lines in the opening weekend.
