Chicken Inn beat Dynamos again!

Dynamos suffered another defeat to Chicken Inn as they lost their Independence semi-final 1-0 at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.

It was the second defeat by Dynamos at the hands of Chicken Inn this season and the third game in a row where Dynamos have failed to score.

Dynamos dominated their proceedings for most of the first half creating more of the chances from the early minutes.

Rodreck Mutuma and Valentine Ndaba were a threat on the attacks but struggled in the final third.

In the 39th minute Farai Mupasiri came close to the opener when he forced a good save from Elvis Chipezeze with a well taken shot.

However Dynamos were punished on the stroke of halftime when against the run of play Mitchell Katsvairo was put through on goal and lobbed the ball over an on rushing Tatenda Mukuruva to hand the Gamecocks the lead.

Halftime came with Dynamos stunned by the goal. After the break Chicken Inn imposed themselves more with veteran midfielder Clemence Matawu taking control of the midfield.

Rodreck Mutuma had a great chance to put Dynamos level in the 59th minuteafter getting into the box but failed to hit the target.

Dynamos continued to be woeful in front of goal as the game progressed. Lawe and Tarumbwa could have sealed the game for Chicken Inn late on but Katsaviro’s strike was enough to progress to the final where there will meet Highlanders at the National Sport Stadium.
