Agent Sawu to coach Bantu Rovers juniors

Soccer Legend and Former Zimbabwe international, Agent Sawu has been roped in by Southen Region Division 1 outfit Bantu Rovers to coach their Juniors.

Bantu Rovers has a vibrant Junior Policy which has brought up season players such as Kuda Mahachi, Obadiah Tarumbwa, Teenage Hadebe, Ngqobizitha Masuku just to mention a few.

Sawu will be tasked with coaching the Under 14 team as well as the U16 team to ensure that boys grasp football skills at a tender age.

Bantu Rovers is more than just a football club in that it invests considerable time and effort in developing its players not just as footballers, but as influential members of the community. Bantu Rovers FC instills life skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, resilience, communication, and confidence in its players, coaches, and management team.

The Under-14 and Under-16 teams are not only used in developing the football skills of these youth, but also stresses the importance of school; the club financially supports its youth by helping with school fees, school uniforms, and examination fees.

Sawu played club football in Zimbabwe before moving abroad to play in China, Cyprus, South Africa and Switzerland. He spent time with South African Premier Soccer League clubs Bush Bucks and Durban Stars before embarking on a coaching career in 2009.

He was a member of the Zimbabwean 2004 African Nations Cup team.
