Young Warriors leave for Botswana

The Zimbabwe National U-20 has left the country for Botswana for their U-20 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

A 28-member delegation left Bulawayo by road for the match that will take place on Friday in Gaborone Botswana.

Zimbabwe will need to score to proceed to the next round after losing the first leg at home 1-0.

Young Warriors Coach Jairos Tapera expressed optimism in their ability to beat Botswana away saying, “They beat us at home and we can also beat them in their own backyard and unfortunately they managed to score one past us but we will score many goals there and progress he told ZIFA’s official website.

If Zimbabwe do proceed Cameroon awaits in the next round.
