Caps United coach Lloyd Chitembwe delighted with win over Dynamos

CAPS United coach Lloyd Chitembwe was a happy man after seeing his charges break a 7 year jinx to beat City rivals Dynamos yesterday in a Premiership encounter.

Caps beat Dynamos 1-0 courtesy of a Dominic Chungwa’s second half strike.

Chitembwe who incidentally was the last coach to beat Dynamos back in 2009 alluded the victory to team work and quality of players at their disposal.

“It definitely feels good to win, I am happy for the boys they showed great tenacity, Chitembwe said after the match.

“The win is good for confidence and belief.

Caps United came from the break a much stronger team in what Chitembwe believes its the depth of the team.

“At the end of the day the difference for me was quality. When you look at our squad like when Archford (Gutu) came in he gave us another dimension and when Simba (Nhivi) also came in again he gave us another dimension. So the difference for me was quality.” he added.
