Dynamos in Silva dilemma

Dynamos appear hesitant to fire head coach Paulo Jorge Silva because of a reported clause in his contract that will see the club make a pay-out of $50 000 if they abruptly dismiss him.

The Portuguese mentor has had a poor start with the former league champions and has picked up five points from the first five games.

Dynamos have been beaten twice in the league and currently in 12th spot a point above the relegation zone.

Dynamos president Kenny Mubaiwa and his executive had given the technical team a three match ultimatum ,Dembare has since only registered four points from a possible nine since the warning.

However the executive has seemed reluctant to dismiss Silva possibly due to the clause. Silva has also denied the three match ultimatum and suggested his only ultimatum would come at the end of the season. Silva had been handed the task of reclaiming the league title.

The Dynamos executive is expected to meet this week to discuss the technical team’s future.
