Kaizer Chiefs have missed out on a spot to play in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup after finishing on position 5 on the ABSA Premiership season.

Kaizer Chiefs ended the season with a dissapointing with a 2 nil loss to Chippa United.

Katsande had the best chance for Kaizer Chiefs in the game but Chippa United keeper Daniel Akpeyi produced a stunning save to stop Katsande’s towering header from goal.

Chiefs needed a win to secure 3rd spot but the defeat means they finish at a disappointing 5th position considering that they were once title challengers for eventually Champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
