Karuru says he never got a chance at Kaizer Chiefs

Ovidy Karuru has posted a goodbye note to Kaizer Chiefs thanking the fans for their support.

Kaururu had his contract terminated earlier this week along with a number of players in a massive clear out for the club after a disappointing season in the ABSA Premiership.

Since his move to Kaizer Chiefs two years ago from Belgium Karuru has struggled to really get much game time being limited to a few substitute appearances and playing more in the Multichoice Diski Challenge which is used for upcoming and reserve players.

Karuru also promised to come back stronger at his next club.

Karuru posted on his Facebook page:

“To all Amakhosi supporters thank you for the support you gave me for the past 2 years though I didn’t get a chance to prove myself but thank you for the messages of encouragement that you been sending…may God bless you all…and to Zimbabweans who been following my progress…sorry for letting you all down…..but I promise you come next season where ever I will go….I WILL PLAY AND I WILL PERFOM…..so those who know me and who have seen me play before…please JUDGE me next season….GOD BLESS YOU ALL
