Highlanders coach Erol Akbay has played down Highlanders’ current position saying winning the league title wont be an easy affair.

Highlanders are currently in the finest form of their lives sitting on ppole position on the log 2 points ahead of closest rivals Caps United.

Akbay has led Bosso to remarkable feats breaking a 10 year winless streak against Bitter rivals Dynamos, Just last weekend he led his charges to a remarkable win of stubborn ZPC Kariba earning Bosso first league win over the Kariba outfit.

In an interview with the Newsday, Akbay however downplayed the form saying Bosso lack quality as compared to other teams like Caps United, Chicken Inn, FC Platinum and Triangle.

“With the quality of players we have, ending the season on position six or seven will be good. Caps, Chicken Inn, FC Platinum and Triangle have got better players. It depends on how you look at it; we have been playing well as a team, but not individually,” he said.

Bosso will be up against Chicken Inn over the weekend while match ups against Triangle and Caps United are looming. It is those fixtures that will have a bearing to Bosso title charge as they are on a path to end a 10 year title drought.
