Mamelodi Sundowns beat Enyimba

Mamelodi Sundowns got another good result as they beat Nigerian side Enyimba 2-1 in the CAF Champions League at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat was lively throughout the match causing the Enyimba defence anxious moments on a number of occasions.

Leonardo Castro put Sundowns in the lead just before the halftime break striking well after a goalmouth scramble. Enyimba equalised in the 58th minute following a thunderous shot from Ojo just outside the box.

In the 75th minute Khama Billiat came close to putting SUndowns back in front but his effort went just wide

However the goal was to come with thirteen minutes to full-time when Wayne Arendse scored , Enyimba tried to keep the ball out but the linesman ruled that the ball had crossed the line and thus stood.

The result is massive result for Sundowns who now top the group with three points. Sundowns had started the game on zero points after ES Setif were disqualified following crowd trouble. Group B also consists of Zamalek who have three points as well.
