Dynamos and Highlanders held to goalless draws

In the Castle Lager Premiership match this afternoon both Dynamos and Highlanders were held to goalless draws.

Dynamos saw their winning streak halted by How Mine ,who have now gone eight matches without a win. Dembare headed into the the match after equally a 2012 record of five straights wins but could not go one better with the draw.

Dynamos got a few good chances in the first half but it was How Mine that were on top in the second half launching a number of raids. At the other end Victor Kamhuka produced an impressive defensive display to make sure Dynamos were kept out.

Charles Sibanda and Kuda Musharu both came close while Toto Banda’s introduction provided more pace upfront and increased the threat but failed to break the deadlock.

Despite How Mine having the upper hand Dynamos almost snatached the winner Simba Gorogodyo had a great chance inside the box but only shoot tamely.

At Sakuvba Stadium Mutare City frustrated Highlanders to goalless draw. The draw saw Highlanders miss out on a chance to move to the top of the table while Mutare City moved into double figures with the point.
