Ngoma scores against Medeama in CAF Confederation Cup

Donald Ngoma scored as Young African Sports Club (Yanga) drew with Ghanaian side Medeama SC in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Yanga are winless in their Group which also comprises of Algerian side M.O Bejaia and TP Mazembe from the DRC.

Ngoma thrust Yanga ahead inside the opening ten minutes but Medeama equalised in the 18th minute.

Former FC Platinum forward Obrey Chirwa wasted chances to score for Yanga as they eventually failed to make home advantage count and settled for the draw which gives them their first point in the group.

In CAF Champions League Zambian side Zesco United hammered Asec Mimosas 3-1 to move to six points in Group A. Wydad lead the standings with six points with a better goal difference than Zesco.
