Egyptian giants Al Ahly and Zamalek could be involved in a bidding war with reports suggesting both clubs are keen on in form Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat.

Billiat was is the reigning ABSA Premiership Football of the Year continues to dazzle and has been a key figure for Mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Champions League.

Sundowns recently beat Zamalek in Egypt a game in which Billiat scored the second and was key in the first goal.

The performances have not gone unnoticed and both Zamalek and Al Ahly are now set to both go for his signature.

According to the Herald, Al Ahly have already dispatched their agent Shady Mostafa El Tawila to iron out a deal with Sundowns while Zamalek submitted a bid recently.

With Billiat also on the radar of French and Belgium clubs his days in the ABSA Premiership could be numbered.
