ZPSL: FC Platinum draw, Harare City, Tsholotsho and Byo City win

FC Platinum where held to a 1-1 draw against ZPC Kariba in Matchday 22 of the Castle Lager Premiership. The Platinum Miners were hoping to extend their lead at the summit of the standings but may have their lead cut down to just one point if Caps United manage to upset Triangle tomorrow.

Nyamwandwe opened the scoring for ZPC Kariba in the 20th minute before Walter Musona netted the equalizer 20 minutes after the break. FC Platinum survived a late charge by ZPC Kariba and held on to a draw.

In Bulawayo Tsholotsho eased their relegation worries with a hard fought 2-1 win over troubled How Mine. Gama and Ocient Ncube scored for Tsholotsho while How Mine pulled a goal back late in the match which was however not enough.

Also in the City of Kings Bulawayo City edged Mutare City 1 nil.

In the Capital, Moses Chunga’s Harare City managed to stage a 1 nil win over Ngezi Platinum oving to 5th position on the log standings. Madanhanga scored City’s solitary strike late in the first half.
