Highlanders could boost their title chances this afternoon if they can beat Harare City at Rufaro Stadium this afternoon.

With both first placed FC Platinum and second placed CAPS United drawing yesterday Highlanders can close in on the leaders.

A win for Highlanders would leave them four points behind FC Platinum with six matches left to play. Erol Akbay is fully aware of the need for maximum points at this stage of the season.

Each game we are now playing is like a cup final said Akbay. We need maximum points.

Highlanders are back on form and have registered three consecutive wins in the league and Akbay is hoping that form continues this afternoon.

The match against Harare City is one of three matches set to be played today as Week 24 of the Castle Lager Premiership continues.
