CAPS United and Highlanders in dramatic wins

It was a dramatic day in the Castle Lager Premiership as title chasing CAPS United and Highlanders both secured very late wins.

At the National Sports Stadium Dennis Dauda scored his first goal for CAPS United to put them in front against How Mine before Leonard Tsipa struck his ninth of the season to give the Green Machine a comfortable halftime lead.

However substitute Dominic Chungwa was to have the final say as he headed in a corner to give CAPS United a massive three points.

At Barbourfields Stadium Ngezi Platinum frustrated Highlanders for much of the first half before taking the game to them in the second half.

James Ngulube looked dangerous going forward for Ngezi Platinum and the visitors scored in the 65th minute to stun Highlanders with Tatenda Machisa’s corner beating Arial Sibanda who had been injured minutes before when the ball hit his eye.
