United started with stars such as Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba but Wayne Rooney was on bench again.
Rooney was introduced in the 67th minute and its was his mishit that looped up for Ibrahimovic to score.
Though not a convincing performance by Manchester United the result puts them third in the group behind Fenerbahce and Feyenord.
In other matches Costa Nhamoinesu was absent as Sparta Prague beat Inter Milan 3-1.Sparta are third in the group a point behind Southampton and Hapoel Beer Sheva.
