Highlanders head coach Erol Abay concedes the title race is over for Bosso after losing 2-1 to Tsholotsho at Barbourfields.
Tsholotsho gave themselves a big survival boost with the win. Nixon Gama was the key man for Tsholotsho as he grabbed a brace to move his side out of the relegation zone.
Highlander on the other hand slipped to third and now trail log leaders CAPS United by four points with only two games left.
Akbay blamed the loss on a lack of concentration and failure to convert their chances into goals.
“We lost concentration and allowed those guys (Tsholotsho) to score twice. It was quite disappointing.
“We played good football but could not score and if you don’t score you can’t win.
“I think the championship is over for us, we can go for second or third place conceded Akbay.
