Triangle coach David Mandigora’s job could be hanging by a thread after reports from the Lowveld that the club’s executive held a crisis meeting where it was reported that they were not happy with the former Dynamos gaffer’s performance.
Mandigora conceded failure when his side went down at home 0 – 1 to Dynamos over the weekend.
Triangle who are fifth from bottom with 35 points are now in danger of relegation should they lose to Harare City while Chapungu win against Caps United this coming weekend – should the position taken by Zifa councilors to relegate four PSL teams and promote the same number
carry the day.
However, a jittery Mandigora said he was unaware of such manouvres by the executive when contacted for comment.
“I am not aware of that because nothing has been communicated to me by the executive,” he said.
Sugar Boys chairman Lovemore Matikinyidze said the issue of the coach would only be discussed at the end of the season.
“That is mere speculation because we are only going to take a position on the performance of the team at the end of the season,” said Matikinyidze who said the club executive always holds “routine meetings.”
