Mighty Warriors nominated for CAF award

The Mighty Warriors have been nominated for the Women’s National Team of Year by CAF. Zimbabwe represented Africa together with South Africa at the Rio Olympics and also participated at the African Women’s Cup of Nations recently.

However the Mighty Warriors crashed out at the first round in both competitions. The Mighty Warriors though did enough to get a CAF nomination alongside Cameroon, South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.

The winner will be announced at the Glo-CAF awards Gala on the 5th of January. Meanwhile CAF has released other categories nominees for the awards .
