Manchester City beat Arsenal

Manchester City handed Arsenal a second consecutive EPL defeat by winning 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.

Theo Walcott gave Arsenal the lead in the 5th minute after being set up by Alexis Sanchez. Manchester City almost equalised minutes later by Raheem Sterling could not direct his header goal wards.

Halftime came with Arsenal still in the lead.
It took Manchester City two minutes to equalise with Leroy Sane scoring from close range after Silva had lifted the ball above the Arsenal defence.

Manchester City dominated as the half progressed and in the 71st minute Sterling scored the winner when he cut in before unleashing a shot that beat Petr Cech at the near post.

The result moves Manchester City to second spot, seven behind leaders Chelsea while Arsenal drop to fourth with 34 points.
