Knowledge Musona has congratulated fellow teammate Khama Billiat despite him losing out on the African Player of the Year award to Dennis Onyango.

Billiat was the runner up to the award which left a number of fans both locally and on the continent feeling he had been robbed as they felt he had out shined his Sundowns colleague for club and country.

Onyango got 252 votes compared to Billiat’s 228 votes.

Despite missing out on the award Billiat made Zimbabwean football history by being included in CAF’s team of the Year alongside Africa’s finest footballers.
