Warriors coach Calliso Pasuwa says the match against Senegal on Thursday in the 2nd round of Matches at Gabon AFCON 2017 will not be a stroll in the park.
The coach who saw his side give away a victory to draw 2-2 against highly fancied Algeria says he expects a physical game from the group B favourites.
Pasuwa says his Warriors fear no opponent and knows victory against the Teranga Lions will bring them close to quarter final qualification with still Tunisia to face.
“We are planning for Senegal now and remember they are very physical. They are one of the best teams in Africa,” Pasuwa told reporters.
“We saw our weaknesses when we played this game [against Algeria], but we also saw our strengths. We have to utilise on the strengths that we have as a team. We will then build on that strength going forward.
“Then on the weaknesses, we will have to work on them when we train for the next game.”
The coach also bemoaned the unavailability of Knowledge Musona who will be out of the match due to a hamstring tear.
“As you know Musona has been one of our regular players, scoring goals,” he said. “To pull him out in the early stages of the game, it was something else when we look at how we had planned.”
