AFCON 2017: Ivory Coast referee to handle Warriors clash against Tunisia

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has named Ivorian Denis Dembele to officiate the Warriors AFCON match against Tunisia in Libreville (Group B) of the AFCON 2017.

Dembele will be assisted by fellow compatriot Tan Marius Donatien (Ivory Coast) and Safari Kabene Olivier (DR Congo).

The other match of the group Senegal-Algeria, which will take place at the stadium of Franceville (same day same hour), has been entrusted to the Botswana, Joshua Bondo.

After two games, Tunisia occupies third place with 3 points behind Senegal leading (6 points) and already qualified. Algeria and Zimbabwe are in last place with one point each.

To get a ticket to the quarterfinals, Zimbabwe require a win and hope Algeria lose. Meanwhile, the Carthage Eagles require at least a draw.

The match is set for Monday, 2100hrs (Zim time).
