Highlanders will start the defence of their ZNA Charities shield against FC Platinum when the two teams clash in the 1st semi final set for 12 February.

Highlanders won the last two editions with their last triumph last year against Harare City on penalty shootouts.

They will start their defence in their favourite hunting ground – Babourfields Stadium.

In the other Semi final, league Champions Caps United will battle it out with rivals Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on the 26th of February.

This year’s tournament will however see the number of participants drop from eight last year to four this year.

The ZNA Charities Shield always bring an exciting ZPSL pre season festivities as teams parade their new acquisitions in preparation for the start of a new season. Proceeds from the tournament go to charity.
