Caps United coach, Lloyd Chitembwe, has said that veteran striker, Leonard Tsipa, is integral to CAPS United plans for the 2017 season.
The 35-year-old forward, who was the 2016 Premier League Golden Boot Award winner, was linked with a move to Tanzania at the turn of the year, but Chitembwe has moved to clear the air.
“He’s a part of the team. Who said he’s not part of the team? The fact that he’s training with the team is a clear sign that he’s a big time CAPS United player.
“How can we just discard someone who was the top goal scorer of the season last year? I just don’t think it makes football sense.
“He’s here to compete and help the team,” he said.
