Ghana coach cries over missed chances

Ghana coach, Avram Grant, was left a disappointed man after seeing his charges go down 2-0 against a determined Cameroon side.

The Black stars missed a host of chances and could have easily buried the match but the coach was left to rue all missed chances.

“I am more than unhappy. We wanted so much to be in the final. We did everything to be there and in the second half we completely dominated.” said Grant.

He added: “Congratulations to Cameroon of course but we were the better side and we lost.”

He however insisted it had been a good tournament for the Black Stars.

It was a sixth successive appearance in the last four for the Ghanaians but they were defeated by second-half goals by Michael Ngadeu and Christian Bassogog in Franceville and have still not won the trophy since 1982.
