Mukuruva Contract Saga: Dynamos Yet To Make Offer – Agent

Harare giants, Dynamos, haven’t approached Warriors goalkeeper, Tatenda Mukuruva, with an official contract renewal offer, according to the player’s representatives.

Mukuruva’s agent, Gibson Mahachi, said the although his client is open to engagement and commitment to Dynamos, the club is yet to make a formal offer.

“We are waiting for Dynamos to come on board with an official contract offer,” Mahachi told Soccer24.

Mukuruva’s contract with Dynamos expired at the end of last year and has been the subject of deep speculation. The 21-year-old took part in the ongoing AFCON 2017 and his contract saga, which has taken a twist, has intensified since his arrival from Gabon last week.

Mahachi, however, refused to be drawn into whether there is interest his client from other clubs.

Echoes of player insubordination have culminated, with reports awash that the club had given the goalkeeper an ultimatum. Club coach, Lloyd Mutasa, was quoted as warning that the Warriors goalkeeper had until the end of this week report for training, or the club begins the search for a goalkeeper.

[But] does it make sense to give a player who is out of contract an ultimatum? – Gibson Mahachi

Reports have suggested that the player’s camp could be holding out for a big pay cheque from the Harare giants, as the club and the player’s representatives appear to be playing hide and seek.

“I don’t know. I just read it in the media. [But] does it make sense to give a player who is out of contract an ultimatum?” asked Mahachi.

Efforts to reach Dynamos chairman, Kenny Mubaiwa, were fruitless.

Mukuruva appeared at Dynamos training session yesterday but did not train with his former teammates, a gesture which is in consistence with a player out of contract.
