Mukuruva Agrees Move To South Africa?

Warriors and Dynamos goalkeeper, Tatenda Mukuruva, has agreed a deal with an ABSA Premiership side according to reports.

The 21-year-old has had a protracted contract saga since his agreement with Dynamos expired at the end of the season last year.

Mukuruva earned acclaim for putting on a brilliant show for the Warriors at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon despite an early exit for Zimbabwe.

A top South African publication, Kick-Off.com, has it exclusively on good grounds that Mukuruva has set his sights across the Limpopo.

“Mukuruva has agreed on a new contract with a PSL side. He is on his way to Cape Town,” sources told KickOff.com.

Mukuruva’s agent, Gibson Mahachi, has, however, professed no knowledge of the deal.

“No, I don’t know anything,” he said, before hanging up, leaving a myriad of Mukuruva’s fans in the dark.

According to Dynamos team manager, Richard Chihoro, Mukuruva has been turning down a contract extension with Dynamos amid reports he has traveled to South Africa where he is expected to join either Cape Town City or Ajax Cape Town.

Mahachi had last week said Dynamos were yet to formally offer a contract renewal to the goalkeeper and that the Mukuruva party was open to a contract extension at the Harare club.

“We don’t know where he is. We offered him a contract, but he did not sign. He kept saying he is waiting for his manager,” Chihoro said.
