Ngezi Platinum forced to play in Harare

Ngezi Platinum will have to play their CAF Confederations 2nd leg fixture against Pamplemousses at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday.

According to CAF requirements the away team and match officials should have suitable accommodation close to the match venue.

Ngezi had been keen to use their home ground Baobab Stadium.

But with Pamplemousses and CAF officials set to be accommodated in Harare the travelling distance by road to Baobab Stadium is deemed to far according to CAF requirements forcing Ngezi to use a venue in the capital city.

Ngezi Platinum drew with Pamplemousses 1-1 at the weekend and though they scored a key away goal head coach Tonderai Ndiraya expressed his disappointment at their defending.

That is one area we need to improve on if we are to progress in the tournament , I was not happy with that aspect said Ndiraya.
