CAPS United started the second half in the same way they had ended  the first pressing for a goal and this time only had to wait five minutes to equalise with Simba Nhivi finally scoring in the 50th minute.

The introduction of Cabby Kamphapa for Joel Ngodzo gave CAPS United more of a an attacking threat going forward.

A few minutes after coming on Kamhapa set up Ronald Chitiyo who dribbled one defender before slotting home with his right foot to score the all important second goal and the winner.

CAPS United continued to pile on the pressure forcing Lioli into defending as the half progressed but despite going close could not add to their tally.

The win sees CAPS United through to the next round of the preliminary stage where they face African giants TP Mazembe next month.
