FA Cup preview: Arsenal face Sutton

Troubled Arsenal will face Sutton in a FA cup match tonight at Green Lane tonight.

Sutton are hoping to defy the odds and make it to the cup quarter finals after Lincoln stunned Burnley at the weekend.

If Sutton were to complete the unthinkable and knock out Arsenal, it would likely be considered the greatest FA Cup upset of all-time Sutton are having the trouble of their own as they have won 3 from 12 of their games and they are on the 17th place in their National League.

Paul Doswell’s National League side have shocked the nation with superb wins against the likes of AFC Wimbledon and Leeds United to reach the fifth round of the competition. They will be looking For Arsene Wenger, the match presents an opportunity to recover from the 5-1 defeat away to Baryen Munich in the Champions League last week.

Wenger Admitted that the non-league side will have the support of the nation behind them come the kick-off.

Danny Welbeck will miss out after suggesting on Twitter that Sutton’s “plastic pitch” was a potential concern regarding his comeback from a long-term knee injury.
