Guardiola wary of Monaco threat

Pep Gourdiola has warned Manchester City that football world is waiting to kill them if they don’t neutralise the threat of Monaco’s striking assassins, who have most of the goals in Europe.

Gourdiola recognised the possibilities of Monaco’s strike force and warned city for a mocking rebuke if they fail to reach the quarter finals. City Boss, who has an extraordinary record of reaching the semi-finals of this competition everytime he has coached has urged his players to clutch on the Champions league hopes and set a European standard to match their rivals.

“All of Europe is going to be watching us, to analyse us, to kill us if we don’t win. To say how good we are when we win and that experience is beautiful to me,” said Guardiola

“..Last year was a great step for the team. This team is building on that. We need time to do that year after year. It is very important for people who look at us to see we are going in the right direction.

Within Eurpoe’s biggest five leagues, only Barcelona have scored more goals than the French side this season,Leonardo Jardim’s side having struck 108 times so far. Guarudiola admires and is wary of the threat.
