EPL: Chelsea stretch lead with win over Swansea

Chelsea have moved 11 points clear at the top of the English Primier League following a 3-1 win over Swansea at Stanford Bridge.

Chelsea’s breakthrough came in the 19th minute as Fabregas, on his 300th Premier League appearance, bundled the ball into the bottom corner after collecting a cross from the right.

Swansea leveled in the second minute of added time at the end of the first period as Llorente headed a wonderful Sigurdsson free kick into the top corner.

Chelsea regained the lead as Pedro squeezed one under Fabianski from distance. Beating the keeper who made an error in otherwise a good game.

Swansea bid for an equalizer was dented by Diego Costa who volleyed home to make it 3 with 6 minutes remaining.

Everton finally secured a win over Sunderland who gave then a hard time in their last meetings.. goals from Idrissa Gana Gueye and sensational striker Romelu Lukaku made the day for Everton. Everton were on the top of the match dominating the game only to allow Sunderland 1 shot on the target.

West Bromwich Albion recovered from a deadly start as they overcame deficit from a goal scored through a penalty in the 5th minute. It took them less than 15 minutes to lead the visitors with 2 goals to one. Scores from Gareth McAuley and Craig Dawson for the hosts cancelling Joshua King leading goal.

Crystal Palace took to the lead late first half with a goal from Patrick Van Aanholt which turned out to be the only score of the game. the game was well balanced as most of the teams made numerous attempts, but ended up not being a good day for the Middlesbrough ‘s boys to lose a goal to nill.

Hull City hopes to move up the relegation zone were shuttered ad they succumbed to a 1 all draw and sharing the spoils with Burnely.’s Huddlestone converted a penalty to take and lead and only for Michael Keane to square it off.
