CAPS United consider chartered plane for DRC trip

Zimbabwean premier league champions, CAPS United, are considering chartering a plane to DR Congo for their CAF Champions League clash against TP Mazembe on the 12th of March.

The Green Machine are confident they can upset the five time CAF Champions League winners and are seemingly doing all they can to make sure they are fully prepared for the match set for Lubumbashi.

“Our plans are that we charter a plane which we think will also be financially friendly for the club,” club CEO, Cuthbert Chitima, told the Chronicle.

“Its an option we are strongly considering and if it comes into fruition we hope to leave in the morning and return immediately after the match.”

If CAPS United manage to go past TP Mazembe, they will proceed to the money spinning group stage of the competition.

A loss will see them take part in a play off that could see them enter the CAF Confederation Cup.
