Mutasa happy with Zuze’s appointment as Dynamos assistant coach

Dynamos have appointed Biggie Zuze as assistant coach replacing former Dynamos midfielder Murape Murape.

Zuze has been appointed in line with new Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA)’s regulations stipulating that all premier league clubs should have CAF A licenced coaches beginning this year. Zuze was unveiled this morning at a training session.

Speaking to Soccer24, Dynamos head coach, Lloyd Mutasa, spoke highly of Zuze, a former Dynamos player and coach, saying the move is also in line with the ambitions of the club.

“Biggie Zuze is a brother, a former Dynamos player. He’s also a former Dynamos coach who coached back in 2002 when I was still a player,” he said.

Murape, who has contributed immensely to the club as a player and as a coach, has been moved to junior teams to afford him an opportunity to upgrade to the necessary qualifications in line with the new regulations. Mutasa also said Dynamos is set to benefit immensely from Zuze’s experience.

“He has gained much experience having also coached Monomotapa and Triangle and he has his qualifications fixed. At Dynamos you also need to be surrounded by qualified coaches,” he said.
